As a committed global citizen, I pledge to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement with a renewed sense of responsibility and urgency. I am dedicated to taking meaningful actions to combat climate change, reduce my carbon footprint, and promote sustainable practices in my daily life. By supporting international efforts to limit global temperature rise and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, I aim to contribute to a healthier, more resilient planet for future generations. We, the citizens of the world, pledge to honor and protect our planet, Mother Earth. Recognizing the urgent need to address climate change, we commit to:
- Rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement: We will actively support efforts to rejoin and uphold the principles of the Paris Climate Agreement, striving to limit global warming to well below 2°C, and pursuing efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C.
- Reducing Carbon Emissions: We will take personal and collective actions to reduce our carbon footprint, including adopting renewable energy sources, enhancing energy efficiency, and promoting sustainable practices in our daily lives.
- Preserving Natural Resources: We will work to conserve and restore our forests, oceans, and biodiversity, recognizing their critical role in maintaining ecological balance and combating climate change.
